The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) exists to protect creators from unauthorized use of their work. It applies to websites that allow users to upload and publish content, ensuring fair protection for intellectual property owners.
At Eromev.com, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in compliance with the DMCA and applicable laws.
Scope
This DMCA Policy applies to the Eromev.com website and all related products and services (collectively, the “Services”). It explains how copyright infringement notices are handled and how you can submit a complaint if your copyrighted material has been used without authorization.
Before Submitting a Copyright Complaint
If you are unsure whether material on our Services infringes your copyright, it is recommended to consult an attorney before filing a DMCA notification.
The DMCA requires that you provide certain personal information as part of your complaint. Please keep this in mind if you have privacy concerns.
Notifications of Infringement
If you believe that content available through our Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification (“Notification”) that meets the DMCA requirements.
Your Notification must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the material that is infringing or subject to infringing activity, along with sufficient information to locate it (e.g., URLs).
- Your contact details (name, address, telephone number, and email).
- A statement of good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed or access disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our copyright agent.
Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the content removed or disabled, and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement of good faith belief that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal court and will accept service of process from the original complainant.
If valid, we may restore the removed content in 10–14 business days unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order.
Operator’s Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Take no action if a notice does not comply with the DMCA.
- Pursue additional remedies for suspected infringement.
Changes and Amendments
This DMCA Policy may be updated at any time. Updates will be posted on this page and become effective immediately unless stated otherwise. Continued use of our Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.
